XB-1 Interactive — Unaffiliated Case Study
A self-initiated, unaffiliated case study inspired by publicly available XB-1 materials. I rebuilt a lightweight real-time demo to showcase my workflow for cinematics, POI callouts, and web-optimized playback — purely to demonstrate capability.

Challenge
Create an independent demo that communicates aircraft form, material reads, and points of interest — using only publicly available references — while feeling native on the web and fast on mobile.
The goal was a skills showcase: real-time camera paths, responsive UI callouts, and short, looping encodes that load quickly without implying any affiliation or endorsement.

Solution
Authored the scene in Unity using Cinemachine camera rigs and lightweight POI markers, then captured curated loops (WebM/MP4) for seamless embedding. A custom HTML/CSS frame adds subtle scroll fades and keeps captions readable at all sizes.
Geometry was adapted from a publicly sourced model to be demo-ready (cleanup, UVs, materials). Encodes were tuned for clarity at small bitrates, autoplay muted/looped, and sized responsively to feel integrated in a standard portfolio page.
Future
Works
As this was a case study to showcase a basic interactive piece, we can further polish this project in Unreal and create a more realistic, robust simulation for a desktop VR simulation.
